Nu Uz provides engineered, therapeutic, and performance-focused horseshoes using industrial materials and modern design methods. Our goal is to improve comfort, support, and outcomes for horses that need more than off-the-shelf solutions.

1. Two Ways to Purchase Shoes

We offer two product paths:

A) Pre-Designed (Standard) Shoes

These are pre-engineered designs available in common sizes and configurations.

Best for:

• General use

• Performance support

• Minor corrections

• Owners who want a high-quality option without custom design costs

Features:

• No design fee

• Faster turnaround

• Fixed pricing

• Available directly through the store

You simply select the size and configuration and place your order.

B) Custom Therapeutic Shoes

These are fully personalized shoes designed for one specific horse.

Best for:

• Laminitis

• Conformation issues

• Pathology

• Gait abnormalities

• Unique hoof geometry

• Rehabilitation cases

This process includes:

• Measurement and gait review

• Custom CAD geometry

• Iteration and refinement

• Farrier coordination

• Material selection

Custom shoes require a Design & Fit Fee because they involve professional engineering and development work.

After the design is finalized, additional pairs can be ordered without repeating the full design process.

2. How the Store Works

For Pre-Designed Shoes:

1. Visit the store

2. Select your shoe model, size, and options

3. Place your order

4. Your shoes are produced and shipped

No design consultation is required.

For Custom Shoes:

1. Start with a Design & Fit order

2. Submit measurements, photos, and gait information

3. We develop and finalize the shoe geometry

4. You approve the design

5. Shoes are produced and shipped

Once your custom design is complete, reorders are simple.

3. Pricing Transparency

Our pricing reflects:

• Engineering time

• Industrial materials

• Manufacturing equipment

• Quality control

• Professional expertise

Custom shoes include a design fee.  Pre-designed shoes do not.

Replacement shoes are offered at reduced cost, but are not free.

4. Farrier Application Responsibility

Adhesive application is handled by the farrier.  Shoe retention depends on:

• Adhesive freshness

• Proper mixing

• Application technique

• Environment

• Horse activity

Because we do not control the application process, we cannot warranty against shoes being thrown during use.
